In the fall of 2004 I attended my first (and only) singles event with your organization....actually my first and only singles event ever! I remember phoning you on the day of the event to cancel my reservation, partly because I was getting over a bad cold and partly because I was not really interested in attending a singles event. I ended up only attending because you convinced me that it would be fun and that I would not regret it....and you were right! The event was in November 2004, at the Nepean Sailing Club and I met someone that evening that I will be marrying on September 23, 2006. I thought it would be nice for you to know that your singles event resulted in an amazing relationship and to a marriage we are both very much excited about.
I'm sure we'll think of you on our (quickly approaching) wedding day.

I really enjoyed the experience of the spin (25-35) and would do it again. I found it quite easy to make conversation for 9 minutes, which I think, is more than enough time to decide whether you'd like to speak to a person on another occasion. What was especially good about it is, my pride is still intact at the end of the evening. Only you and I know whom I picked and who picked me. There isn’t the awkwardness of being asked for your phone number by someone you don't wish to see again. And Spin dating allows people to avoid such a situation. Overall, I think it's a great thing and would recommend it for anyone who isn't particularly interested in bar pick-ups or dating agencies.

I find the nice thing about Spin Dating is that everyone there is on the same wave length. We are all there for the same reason. Unlike the "personals" on the net, you see what the person looks like physically right away. Now that you have that part of the meeting process out of the way, you can concentrate on the most important part...what's inside! A little nerve racking at first, but you find yourself at ease within no time. I personally find the whole concept quite interesting and positive.

Dear Irene,
I am writing to tell you of the results of coming to your spin for 50+ at the beginning of December. I had been extremely skeptical that something like this could actually work. Speaking for myself six weeks later, I feel I have found what I, at 63, had literally given up all hope of finding. I have no idea just what the future will be for this relationship, but up to now it has brought me more gifts than I could have ever imagined. So I want to tell you how very grateful I am that you held that particular spin, and that I have no skepticism left in me about them. I think the most important message I could give to others who aren't sure about coming to a spin is that they have nothing to lose and everything to gain by going. This was my first spin (the second for my friend) and we have found something so wonderful that I still find it hard to believe, sometimes.

I found the spin (25-35) a lot less intimidating than I'd thought it would be - a bit odd, but very efficient! I was surprised that in 8 minutes it was easy to tell whether you would or would not want to meet again.

Thanks Irene! I really enjoyed the spin 35-45. It was a lot of fun and it was a nice group of people -- men and women. Several of us women gathered to chat in the parking lot afterward and we felt it was a very positive experience. I also felt it was well organized and the room was nicely set up. Good job!

Hello. I attended the spin tonight (30-40 year olds) and wanted to give you some feedback on my impressions. First, I want to say that the experience was much better than I had anticipated. I was very nervous/worried about going, and I almost did not attend. Second, each and every one of the men that I met were very nice, and easy to talk to. I enjoyed my evening.
